A rich ecosystem of climate tech startups is emerging in the U.S. and around the world, and working with partners in new ways. These companies aim to bend the carbon emissions curve downward while improving society. But they cannot transform our infrastructure alone. To do that they have to collaborate with utilities and large corporate customers. That enables solutions to be tested, deployed, and brought to market at scale and at previously impossible speed.
