In just a month, on Thursday May 26, we’ll host our first conference in NYC and we’re very happy with how the program has shaped up.  Our diverse program will cover everything from finance and banking (it is after all NYC), to health, smart cities, crowd-based capitalism and the impact of tech on culture and trust.

We’ve got 27 speakers throughout the day, including Autodesk CEO Carl Bass, Data & Society’s danah boyd, IBM’s Blockchain expert Jerry Cuomo, Facebook’s Carolyn Everson, Bayer head of digital development Jessica Federer, U.S. Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx, FCC Commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel, GE Digital CEO Bill Ruh, Betterment CEO Jon Stein and NYC CTO Minerva Tantoco.

In addition, three speakers will be talking about important recent books.  Healthcare expert, author and clinician Dr. David Agus recently wrote “The Lucky Years: How to Thrive in the Brave New World of Health.”  Then there’s the compelling new book on Wall Street by TIME’s Rana Foroohar: “Makers and Takers: The Rise of Finance and the Fall of American Business.”  And hot off the presses – NYU’s Arun Sundararajan will speak about The Sharing Economy: The End of Employment and the Rise of Crowd-Based Capitalism.

You can view the complete list of speakers and the day’s program here. And for those who are counting, 9 of the 27 speakers are women (33%).

If you can be in NYC May 26, register to join us at NYU’s Kimmel Center for a great day of dialogue and discussion.
