Yaron is the VP of Strategy for Heart Failure at Edwards Lifesciences, the global leader in the science of heart valves and hemodynamic monitoring. Yaron has more than 20 years of experience in biomedical science and engineering and in medical systems design and development. He enjoys developing medical solutions in collaboration with physicians and hospitals. He is the named inventor on over twenty patents in a wide range of medical fields.

Yaron joined Edwards Lifesciences in 2005, and led the development of trans-catheter heart valves and glucose monitoring devices. Prior to joining Edwards Lifesciences, Yaron worked for Johnson & Johnson in the fields of angiogenic growth factors and stem cell therapy for cardiology applications, and RF and ultrasound ablation catheter systems for the treatment of Atrial Fibrillation and heart rhythm management. Yaron started his career at Elscint (now part of Philips Medical Systems) developing CT scanners.

Yaron holds a BS in electrical engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel.
