As Senior Vice President of Marketing, Communications and Sustainability, Wendy Montgomery oversees the strategy for IGT’s global brand, marketing, corporate communications and sustainability plans including community relations, responsible gaming, and environment, social and governance (ESG) programs. She also chairs IGT’s Executive Sustainability Steering Committee, its Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Executive Council, and serves as the co-executive sponsor of IGT’s Women’s Inclusion Network.

Before joining IGT in 2018, she spent 13 years at the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) where she led marketing, sales, operations, policy and planning for the lottery and iGaming businesses. During her tenure at OLG and in her role as the Senior Vice President of the lottery and iGaming businesses, she was responsible for overseeing a team that helped deliver record sales by launching industry award-winning new products, retail and digital innovation.

Her previous experience spans multiple industries, including in the entertainment business in her role as Vice President and General Manager, W Network, under Corus Entertainment, Inc., and before that, in the telecommunications field as Vice President of Marketing with Star Choice Communications, Inc. She has also held leadership roles in consumer packaged goods categories, and has previously lived and worked in South Africa, Israel, Eastern Europe, Canada, and the United States.

Wendy was inducted into the PGRI Lottery Hall of Fame in 2021, recognized with PBN’s C-Suite award in 2020 and in 2016, she was named one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women.

Wendy is a graduate of the Executive Leadership Program at Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada. She holds a diploma in Marketing Management from the Institute of Marketing Management in Johannesburg, South Africa, as well as a Higher National Diploma in Business Studies from Greenwich University in London, U.K.
