Søren Juul Jørgensen is a fellow at the Center for Human Rights and International Justice at Stanford University, mainly working with issues relating to ethics, tech and law. Søren is the founder he advisory firm ForestAvenue established in Brussels, Copenhagen and Silicon Valley, and co-founder of Sustainary, supporting innovation for the UN SDG’s. Søren previously worked as CEO for the Danish Innovation Center in Palo Alto and as Consul General of Denmark to California, focused on tech innovation and tech industry related engagement supporting startups, corporate innovation and research. Søren worked as a diplomat for the Danish foreign service and for international tech companies such as Mærsk Data and IBM. He taught law at the University of Copenhagen and has worked as a national Danish press spokesman, as a European Union negotiator and as a lawyer. Søren is a mentor and advisor for various tech startups.
