Roger Spitz is Managing Director – Head of Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) Advisory Americas with BNP Paribas. He is a senior strategic adviser on transforming, innovating and growing businesses through Acquisitions, Mergers (M&A) & Investments.

He has built and led a spectrum of US & global Technology and Digital related Investment Banking Advisory businesses including setting-up a new TMT M&A Advisory practice in San Francisco to establish this group’s presence in the US. Roger also developed the global Technology Investment Banking franchise across M&A, Strategic Advisory, Capital Raising & IPO and spearheaded a cross-industry Digital M&A studio advising companies on their digital transformation through Disruptive Acquisitions and Investments.

Thought leadership and a regular speaker on Industry Convergence and how Digital Disruption transforms all industries; Roger is involved with Singularity University and MIT Sloan Executive Education & MIT Artificial Intelligence Lab. Passionate about Exponential Technologies, he is currently researching and writing about the Existential questions these raise in the context of AI.

Roger is a strong supporter of Startup ecosystem and innovation (Mentor @ Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center; Startups Jury Member…); having started his career in the Venture Capital industry in London.
