Oliver leads the Health Technology Partnerships and Corporate Development team at Johnson & Johnson, where he is responsible for working with commercial teams across J&J’s consumer, device, and pharma businesses to bring innovative solutions to market through partnerships, investments, acquisitions and joint ventures (from early stage startups to established incumbents).
Oliver has 20 years of experience building businesses, driving user and revenue growth, and enabling product development via innovative partnerships at leading technology companies. Most recently, Oliver was Vice President of Partnerships at Lyft, where he created the global strategy and built and led the team responsible for executing industry-first strategic partnerships across a wide array of partners for the fastest growing on-demand transportation service in the US.
Prior to Lyft, Oliver oversaw business development activity globally for strategic consumer
partnerships at LinkedIn, driving tens of millions of new users and increases in LinkedIn usage through deeply integrated partnerships with leading hardware and software companies. Oliver has also held leadership roles at Google and Yahoo! in partnerships and product management capacities. He started his career as a fixed income trading analyst at Morgan Stanley.
Oliver has an A.B. in Economics from Harvard College, and an M.B.A. from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management. He lives in San Francisco with his wife and two sons.
