Narinder is a technology entrepreneur focused on using artificial intelligence to improve medical delivery and decision making.  He was co-founder and board member at Appirio (acquired by Wipro), a leader in delivering innovation to companies through  emerging technologies.

At Appirio he led strategy, R&D, and marketing  – most recently as president of topcoder, a crowdsourcing design, development and data science community.  He helped bootstrap the company and subsequently raise over $110 million from Sequoia Capital, GGV, General Atlantic and salesforce.com. Prior to Appirio, Narinder worked at SAP in the Office of the CEO and at webMethods  as a GM and R&D leader.

Narinder has been recognized for leadership in the New York Times, named one of San Francisco Business Times 40 under 40, and appeared on CNN, C-Span and the Daily Show.  He has represented Appirio at the World Economic Forum and testified before the House Science Committee on Innovation.

He holds a BS from Northwestern, an MBA from Wharton and a Masters in Translational Medicine from UCSF and Berkeley. Narinder works with several non–profits, currently serving as an advisor to City Health Works and as chairman of the board of the Sikh Coalition.
