Muhammed Chaudhry serves as president and CEO for the Silicon Valley Education Foundation (SVEF). Under his stewardship, SVEF has become the leading education non-for-profit resource and advocate for students, educators, administrators, and corporate and individual donors in Silicon Valley. The foundation is dedicated to elevating scholastic achievement in the critical STEM areas of math and science, proven indicators for long-term educational success. With Muhammed’s leadership, the foundation has forged strong partnerships with industry and the education community to develop innovative programs to support public education. He is a board member of the California Department of Education, Partners In School Innovation, and the Hispanic Foundation Silicon Valley. He is on the National Science Foundation’s Directorate for Education and Human Resources Advisory Committee. He is on the advisory board of Silicon Valley Reads and the California Consortium of Education Foundation, and is an active member of the San Jose Rotary Club. His personal interests include golf, long-distance running, and volunteering with various philanthropic causes. Prior to SVEF, Muhammed held management positions in brand marketing with The Clorox Company and Dazzle Multimedia. He serves as vice president of MKA USA, which is a youth development organization. Muhammed holds B.S. degree in business administration from San Jose State University and is a graduate of the Stanford Executive Leadership Program.
