Mo co-founded Karat with the goal of making interviewing an important, data-informed profession.

Karat conducts highly predictive first-round technical interviews on behalf of clients including Pinterest, Intuit, Citrix and Indeed. The company’s solution leverages a network of software engineers whom Karat recruits and equips to be Professional Interview Engineers. Karat’s unique business model reclaims significant engineering time in the hiring process and provides candidates with a flexible and responsive experience. The company is now conducting 30,000 technical interviews per year and is leveraging the data to drive continous improvements in how companies hire engineers. Karat is based in Seattle and backed by Norwest Venture Partners, 8VC and the Founders of Glassdoor, MuleSoft, OPOWER and Creative Artists Agency.
