Michael Persson is a staff writer for Dutch national daily De Volkskrant, covering the frayed edges of technology. In any given week, he could be writing about the limits of pattern recognition or the business model of the collaborative economy. Based in Amsterdam, he attempts to trace the cracks and tears of digital disruption–whether it’s the NSA or Airbnb who is causing them. Michael studied aerospace engineering at Delft University of Technology and the University of Texas at Austin. He likes new worlds and the bumpy roads towards them.
