Michael Oleshansky is a Managing Director in the Private Investments Group of PSP Capital Partners (“PSP”) and leads PSP Growth, the venture & growth equity arm of the firm. In his role at PSP, Mr. Oleshansky leads various facets of transaction execution, portfolio management and internal strategic planning and team development. PSP Capital Partners is a global private investment firm founded by Penny Pritzker, a business builder, civic leader and philanthropist, and the former U.S. Secretary of Commerce. With a perpetual and significant capital base, PSP’s mission is to build market‐leading businesses and create long‐term value in close partnership with entrepreneurs, business owners, and management teams. Prior to joining PSP in early 2011, Mr. Oleshansky spent was a senior investment professional at Industrial Opportunity Partners (“IOP”), a middle‐market private investment firm based in Evanston, Illinois. Prior to IOP, Mr. Oleshansky was with Equity Group Investments, a multi‐billion dollar private investment firm founded and led by Samuel Zell. He began his career as an investment banker in the Mergers & Acquisitions group of Merrill Lynch & Co. Mr. Oleshansky earned a B.S. (Magna Cum Laude) in Business Administration from Miami University and an MBA (with High Honors) from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He currently serves as a board member or observer of several privately‐held companies, and as a member on the Finance Advisory Board of the Miami University Farmer School of Business, as well as being active in other charitable organizations in the Chicagoland area.
