Matt Cohler is a General Partner at Benchmark. At Benchmark, Matt has partnered with entrepreneurs in social, mobile and cloud computing companies such as Instagram, 1stdibs, Quora, Uber, Asana, Domo, Edmodo, Baixing, Couchsurfing, Peixe Urbano, ResearchGate, Zendesk, and Dropbox. Matt spent nearly eight years working with Facebook, initially as the company’s seventh employee and VP Product, and then after joining Benchmark as special advisor. Previously Matt was VP and GM at LinkedIn, where he was a member of the founding team. Matt also works with several non-profit organizations, including Women For Women International, the San Francisco Symphony, and UCSF.
