Martín Migoya has been an entrepreneur since his early youth. In 2003, together with three friends, he founded Globant, a company that in less than five years turned into a multi-national focused on the creation of innovative software products around the world. Since 2005, Martín has served as Globant’s CEO and board chairman.
As Globant’s CEO, Martín drove the company from a small start-up to an organization with more than 2,800 professionals whose reach spans the U.S., UK, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Brazil, and Argentina
Martín’s passion to inspire future entrepreneurs has led him to frequently give lectures at various events and serve as a jury member at the Endeavor entrepreneurs’ panel and La Red Innova. The MIT Sloan School of Management wrote a business case about Globant entitled “Globant, Leading the IT Revolution in Latin America,” and invited Martín to give lectures to its MBA students.
Martín was named Endeavor Entrepreneur 2005. In 2008, he received a Konex Award for being one of the most innovative entrepreneurs of the year. In 2009, he was an Argentine Creative Circle winner (Círculo de Creativos de la Argentina) and was awarded the Security Award for being one of the most distinguished businessmen of the year. In 2013, he was recognized with Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award. He is also a member of the Young President’s Organization.
Martín has worked in the technology industry for more than 18 years, and has previously held the roles of business manager at Origin B.V. Holland and project manager at Repsol.
