I’m a journalist turned communications professional experienced at creating and executing integrated communications strategies. Based in Silicon Valley, I currently manage both internal and external communications for Baidu’s research and development center in the US. My work has greatly increased the visibility and brought recognition to Baidu’s work in artificial intelligence, advancing the company’s brand as one of global leaders in AI.
Prior to joining Baidu, I worked as a freelance journalist while completing my masters degree at UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism. My work had been published in New York Times, PBS News Hour, KQED, SF Chronicle, Richmond Confidential, Sina.com and South China Morning Post. My journalism career began in 2009 when I joined Global Times – an English language newspaper based in Beijing – where I wrote about China’s fast changing social, cultural and technology scenes for three years.
