Kevin’s 25-year career in search has earned him the role of trusted advisor to many of the world’s top board members, CEOs, and C-suite executives, having led over 2000 searches for notable companies globally. His personal performance: 98% completion rate; 80% stick rate over 2 years — twice the industry average, and extraordinary net promoter scores from clients and candidates. Launched in 2015, Acertitude represents a new era in executive search, already a top 30 global search firm, and continues to expand rapidly.

Acertitude’s success builds on Kevin’s leadership of O’Neill Consulting, which he founded in 1996 and which continues to thrive, awarded three consecutive Inc. 5000 awards. Prior, O’Neill spent his early career with investment banks Merrill Lynch and Kidder, Peabody & Co, as well a serving as a top client partner with a major search firm in Philadelphia. He earned a B.A. in Political Science from Marietta College.

Kevin is a board member of Avishkar Holdings, LLC, a firm investing in pre-clinical immunotherapies for cancer and infectious diseases, and was a board member and founder of Cargenix, a clinical-stage CAR-t cell immunotherapy company. Previously, Kevin served as regional Chairman of the Board for the American Heart Association.

Active in public service, Kevin serves as trustee of his alma-mater, Marietta College, and trustee of the Bryant University College of Business Deans Council. He is also on the board of directors of the World War II Foundation, the world’s leading non-profit organization committed to educating future generations about the personal stories of the WWII generation.
