Kathrina FitzGerald works with the CEO and chairman of Daily Mail and General Trust (DMGT) on developing and evolving the company’s vision and overall strategy. DMGT, headquartered in London and listed on the London stock exchange, is an international business built on entrepreneurship and innovation. DMGT brings together leading companies and talented people to provide businesses and consumers with high-quality analysis, information, news, and entertainment.
At DMGT, Kathrina is responsible for group M&A, identifying and investigating investment opportunities, and overseeing the company’s communications efforts. Kathrina also has responsibility for driving DMGT’s international and new markets strategy. Prior to her current role, Kathrina worked with the chairman of DMGT, Lord Rothermere, on business development and special projects across the group.
Kathrina was previously a vice president at JPMorgan Investment Bank, where she spent seven years on the corporate finance team. During that period, Kathrina was involved in and led multiple mergers and acquisitions, finance raisings, and restructurings focused on a number of areas, including telecommunications, media and technology, general UK industries, and financial institutions. Kathrina holds a bachelor of commerce from University College Cork in Ireland. Kathrina’s interests include reading, piano playing, windsurfing, and triathlons.
