Kam is managing director and head of firm wide Risk Architecture and Reporting team at AIG. Kam and his team work closely with the firm’s senior risk officers and various information technology teams to devise infrastructure and data architecture requirements and processes necessary to manage AIG’s financial and insurance risks within its assets and liabilities portfolios.
In his previous capacity, Kam was Vice President of Research Services at State Street Global Exchange focused on creating and implementing analytical models for State Street’s clients. Kam joined State Street from Moody’s Analytics where he was the Head of Americas region of Portfolio Advisory Service and responsible for execution and successful delivery of various Portfolio Risk Advisory projects.
Kam holds a Master of Science in Operation Research and Finance from Queen’s School of Business in Canada, Master of Science in Statistical Signal Processing from Chalmers University of Technology, Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology. Kam has over 14 years of experience in financial services, he has published and presented nationally and internationally and his research work has resulted in patented technology.
