Joshua Reynolds is an independent advisor who has worked with high-growth companies globally for nearly 20 years. He’s been a market analyst, an agency CEO and an in-house CMO. Today he is the founder of his own consulting firm, Rob Roy Consulting, where he helps executives and organizations become more authentic and persuasive with customers, employees, and investors.

Josh was originally trained as a criminal prosecutor and began his career in innovation as a Gartner analyst. He was the first to transpose Joseph Campbell’s “Hero’s Journey” into a persuasive storytelling model in the late 1990s, which became an industry standard and earned him a Top 25 Innovator award from The Holmes Report in 2014.

A frequent author and speaker on the topics of innovation, persuasion and human intuition, Josh continues to speak at conferences around the world and has taught courses on leadership and how to be a trusted advisor in more than 20 countries. He is a graduate of internationally accredited CTI coaching program and a certified Toastmaster. Josh holds degrees in English and History from UCLA, a minor in theology from Oxford, and a law degree from UC Hastings.
