Jonathan Usuka leads the Center for Analytics and Real World Evidence (CARE) for the Pharmaceutical & Medical Products practice at McKinsey & Company, where he advises global life science organizations on precision medicine and maximizing the value of clinical and genomics data to improve patient’s lives. Previously, Dr. Usuka was the Director of R&D Informatics at Celgene, and the Director of Business Strategy and Head of Genome Informatics at Roche Pharmaceuticals. His scientific work has been featured in several patents, 20+ peer reviewed publications, and the cover of Science. He earned a BA from Princeton University, an MBA in Finance and Healthcare Strategy from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a PhD in Chemistry from Stanford University, where he was an NIH Genomics Fellow in the School of Medicine.
