John Ingrassia is Vector Management’s General Manager, working with Vector’s team of managers on the careers of Vector’s broad roster of artists, with particular focus on Digital and Strategic Marketing. In this role he draws from a 20-plus year career at Sony Music, where he filled executive roles in a number of capacities, including Executive Vice President of Columbia Records. At Columbia, he managed day -to-day operations of the label and worked directly with artists such as Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, John Mayer, Beyonce and Tony Bennett. John also served as the first President of Sony Music’s Commercial Music Group, overseeing the company’s vast catalog and archive, and its Legacy Recordings, Masterworks and Creative divisions. There, he formed the Brand Partnership Group to develop strategic marketing opportunities to leverage Sony Music’s catalog and to merchandise the archive of historic photos and artwork. This later spawned a stand-alone creative advertising agency, Arcade, with notable clients such as Coca-Cola and Ralph Lauren. John holds a BS from The Wharton School of Business at University of Pennsylvania and a JD from Stanford University.
