John Bertrand is the CEO of Digital Diagnostics, the company with the goal of doing “AI the right way.” Digital Diagnostics is responsible for IDx-DR, an AI diagnostic system that autonomously diagnoses patients for diabetic retinopathy (including macular edema)— to detect the disease before it leads to blindness. With this technology, Digital Diagnostics wants to increase patient access to high-quality, affordable disease detection.
