Jessie is a senior consultant at Copperfield Advisory, a consulting firm that works with founder-led and owner-run organizations. Previously, she worked at H Partners, a New York-based, $2b investment manager. Before working in finance, Jessie was an academic, focusing on the financial and political history of medieval Italian art and architecture. At Columbia University, she was the first graduate student to teach core courses in two different fields, art history and literature, and won annual teaching awards for her work in both classes. She also consulted at the writing center, where she specialized in working with professors and graduate students.
Her first book, “What you think you should know about politics…but don’t: a non-partisan guide to the issues” is currently in its third edition. She has also professionally edited a number of academic books, has worked as a freelance non-fiction writer, and continues to lecture at the Cloisters, the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s museum of medieval art.
Jessie holds a Phd, MPhil, and MA from Columbia University, an MPhil from Cambridge University, and a BA from Harvard University.
