With experience spanning business, innovation, and research in networking, computing, telecommunications, and mobile platforms, Jatinder Singh is currently responsible for directing mobile innovation and developing market, product, and commercialization strategies at PARC, a Xerox company. Areas where he contributes include contextual intelligence and context-aware computing, networking and distributed systems, innovation services, big data and high performance analytics, security and privacy initiatives, as well as emerging technologies. Prior to joining PARC, Jatinder was Vice President of Research at T-Mobile’s parent Deutsche Telekom, Inc., where he helped establish and oversee research and development laboratories in Silicon Valley. His previous experience also includes work at IBM research labs, Robert Bosch Corporation, and Intel. Dr. Singh received his Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, where he was a Stanford Graduate Fellow and is currently a Consulting Associate Professor. He has over 20 patents (issued and filed) and 55 publications.
