Jason Krikorian brings an entrepreneur’s perspective to DCM Ventures and its portfolio companies. Before joining DCM as a general partner, Jason co-founded Sling Media, the pioneering digital media and device company.
Among its many accolades, Sling Media, a DCM porfolio company, received an Emmy Award for the Slingbox, the device that first introduced the world to the concept of placeshifting. Jason has headed many functions at Sling Media, with roles that include EVP of business development, EVP of marketing, and CFO. Jason led the establishment of distribution and development partnerships with global television, broadband, and mobile operators. The breadth of his responsibilities reflects the wide range of expertise required of an entrepreneur and Jason’s capacity to guide portfolio companies across many areas of their businesses.
