James is a principal at Community Capital Technology, which helps community banks expand access to capital to small businesses. Prior to this role, James spent his career as an entrepreneur building companies and platforms which streamline access to information for decision-makers.
James spent five years in China and two in Germany building Capvision – the largest primary research firm in Asia. He managed all strategy and execution for Capvision outside of the China market. The firm was sold in a management buyout in 2015.
Prior to Capvision, James worked at iSoftstone, a NYSE-listed IT outsourcing firm based in Beijing, where he led an institutional sales team. He worked at Bloomberg LP in New York prior to this role. James Received his BA from Miami University of Ohio and is a member of the Foreign Policy Association and a John Whitehead Fellow.
