J. Max Robins is executive director of the Center for Communication. He writes on the intersection of media and technology. In his former positions as Executive Director and Vice President of Industry Programs for The Paley Center for Media, he founded the groundbreaking “Next Big Thing” series, bringing together the hottest startups in media, technology, and entertainment and thought leaders from around the world. Before joining the Paley Center, Robins was the editor-in-chief of Broadcasting & Cable, where he oversaw a relaunch of B&C across platforms. His work has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, Variety, Columbia Journalism Review and New York Magazine, among other publications.
