Ido Bachelet obtained his PhD in pharmacology and experimental medicine from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, was a postdoctoral fellow in bioengineering at MIT and postdoctoral fellow in DNA nanotechnology at Harvard University, under the supervision of Prof. George Church. Founded Augmanity, a privately-funded research organisation, after 4 years as an assistant professor in Israel. His research pioneered medical nanorobotics and molecular computing, and in addition focuses on synthetic biology, biomimetics, and human augmentation.
