Hans Haringa is an international serial inventor with some 31 years on the “Shell clock.” Hans has held a diverse range of roles, from some that were very technical to others that were very nontechnical. Hans is managing an exciting portfolio of disruptive ideas at the forefront of the Shell innovation process. His current passion is working with Shell GameChanger innovation practices and processes. He finds and experiments with new scalable processes that tap into the unprecedented connectivity and scale of the Internet, provide access to new contents of people and ideas, and use new ways of working that are embedded in the 21st century. He believes that “it is better to know some of the questions than all of the answers,” as American author, cartoonist, and humorist James Thurber said.
