Diala joined Ericsson Silicon Valley and the D-15 Labs team in March 2019 and is currently leading the project’s Engagements and Business Development work stream. She is responsible for internal and external outreach with ecosystem partners to co-create on use cases for 5G, IoT, Edge Compute and Network Slicing. With over 14 years of experience working in technology, Diala has been leading operational teams for delivering business focused results in leading edge technologies and services within the OSS & Analytics domain. She has a broad experience in planning, executing and delivery of solutions, software development, system integration, virtualization, testing and automation in the Service Fulfillment area.
Diala is recognized as a Change Agent and Driver, leading several of Ericsson’s first implementations worldwide in the fulfillment space, leading teams and groups to innovate as well as several initiatives internally, including Hunting and Farming across the OSS delivery organization to increase Add-on-sales. She has a proven record in building and transforming organizations into dynamic and highly performing units, with strong focus on operational excellence, delivery efficiency and margin optimization.
Diala holds a MSc in Electrical Engineering from Ecole Polytechnique de Montréal. She first joined Ericsson in 2007 in Montréal, Canada, as a System Integrator and Customer Support Engineer, moving on to managing and leading teams in 2010 and becoming an Engineering Director in 2016. She has experience in working with global, diverse teams, working with and leading several acquired groups coming from Redback, Telcordia and Conceptwave.
