Curren is an inventor and entrepreneur. He is the primary inventor of eight patents and has worked closely with universities and engineering companies to develop technologies. Curren most notably founded Cortex Composites. At Cortex Composites he successfully developed an alternative to concrete that is deployed in rollable form and transforms to a rigid concrete layer when hydrated with water. The Company was featured in Inc., the Los Angeles Business Journal, on ABC, KQED, and at the NYSE as a Kairos 50 company. Curren attended Hamilton College and previously worked at three notable financial institutions: Bel-Air Investment Advisors, Creo Capital Advisors, and Cohen Asset Management.
