Colleen is responsible for defining and leading Symantec’s global communications strategies, including planning and execution for corporate and product public relations, public affairs, employee communications, industry trade analyst relations, and global agency management across more than 50 countries. Colleen has a proven track record for delivering results, and a reputation for strategic planning, engaging storytelling, and creative problem solving. Prior to joining Symantec, she was an executive vice president at Waggener Edstrom Worldwide, where she developed trusting relationships with many of the most influential technology and business media. While at Waggener Edstrom, Colleen led multiple account teams and served as a member of the executive leadership team responsible for the growth and direction of the Microsoft account. As a strategic advisor to Microsoft, she spearheaded the launch of many key products, including Windows 95, Internet Explorer, MSN, and Bing. Colleen attended the University of Oregon and received a BA in Communications from Portland State University. In her spare time she enjoys yoga, cooking, all outdoor activities, and genuine ‘ah ha’ moments.
