Entrepreneurs create the future, and Chris Petroff has propelled the future of many Arizona businesses. Chris has been on both sides of the entrepreneurial coin, launching his own startup ventures and also supporting companies as they expand or relocate. Chris continues to be a strong proponent for growing the local economy and through his actions encourages others to do the same.
As VP of business development at the Greater Phoenix Economic Council, Chris counsels businesses in various technology markets. He has facilitated more than 20 corporate expansions and relocations into Greater Phoenix, leading to the creation of over 1,000 jobs and an investment impact in excess of $150 million.
In 2011, Chris co-founded SEED SPOT, a business incubator designed to help entrepreneurs launch their ventures through a network of support and collaboration. Since launching its first application cycle in 2012, SEED SPOT has helped nearly 100 entrepreneurs grow their business models into scalable ventures. In 2013, Chris was invited to the White House by Startup America to discuss “Regional Communities, Starting Up America in 2013.”
Chris serves on the boards of TiE Arizona, the Better Business Bureau of Arizona, and the Northern Arizona University Alumni Association.
