Caroline Calkins-Heine is Premier Experiences Leader at PwC. She directs PwC’s award winning, global Exchange program. The Exchange is a think tank of top business leaders, academics, scientists, and entrepreneurs that get together twice a year to discuss and share approaches to tough business problems. The Exchange gives community members the knowledge, network, and know-how to thrive in an ever-changing business landscape. Caroline joined PwC in 2010 when it acquired Diamond Management & Technology Consultants, where for 10 years she was director of marketing. At Diamond, she led the transformation of marketing efforts and the Diamond Exchange program. She has also led, conducted, and advised on the firm’s cross-industry research of pressing business issues. Caroline worked on Diamond’s annual “Digital IQ”survey and on a study of consumers’ attitudes toward health, wealth, and retirement, highlights of which were published in the Harvard Business Review.Prior to joining Diamond, Caroline worked as a management consultant focusing on business strategy, primarily for clients in the transportation sector. Most of her consulting work involved strategic planning and growth, particularly the development and launch of new services.She holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Cornell University, an M.B.A. from Cornell’s Johnson Graduate School of Management, and a maitrise en administration et en gestion with honors from Belgium’s Université Catholique de Louvain-la-Neuve.
Caroline’s passion is cycling up hills, although she’s not so crazy about going back down. Her goal in life is to create the world’s smoothest, richest, crème brûlée.
