As general manager of IBM Watson Media and Weather, Cameron Clayton oversees a portfolio of cognitive businesses within IBM, including Watson Media, Watson Advertising and The Weather Company. These businesses create decision support offerings and enterprise solutions for a number of industries and marketers, including aviation, transportation, retail, insurance, media, energy & utilities, oil & gas, consumer packaged goods, quick service restaurants and more.
Cameron was most recently CEO and general manager of The Weather Company, where he oversaw the company’s valuable portfolio of consumer products and digital businesses including The Weather Channel® (weather.com) and Weather Underground (wunderground.com) as well as the business solutions unit. Cameron joined Weather in 2004. He serves on the Ad Council board of directors, the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) board, and also participates in several other digital industry groups. A native of New Zealand, Clayton lives in Atlanta with his family.
