After a decade in Silicon Valley, he returned to Detroit in 2011, where he leads a mobile app laboratory for Palo Alto-based Apigee, a company he helped create. He is the founder of Ribbon Farm, a Detroit makerspace, the co-organizer of the Detroit Drunken Historical Society and the founder of the Detroit & Windsor Stand Up Paddleboard group.
