Beth Rattner is Executive Director for the Biomimicry Institute, which attract thousands of students and professionals each year to create nature-inspired solutions for a healthy planet. Prior to this position, she was the executive Director and Vice President of the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute, a non-profit she co-founded with William McDonough, Michael Braungart, and Bridget Luther.

Rattner’s background, however, was not on the non-profit side, but rather working with Fortune 500 companies as a sustainability management consultant and as an employee at Hewlett Packard. At HP, Rattner helped establish the Emerging Market Solutions group, providing technology-based microfinance opportunities for those who earned less than $2 a day, specifically women in India and South Africa.

Rattner is a California Attorney, Writer, student, and advocate for all living things.
