Beth Colleton is senior vice president of corporate social responsibility (CSR) at NBCUniversal. She is responsible for developing and implementing NBCUniversal’s company-wide CSR strategy, which focuses on environmental sustainability, diversity, philanthropy, and pro-social initiatives. Beth is also responsible for engaging and reporting to a diverse set of stakeholders on the company’s CSR efforts.
Previously, Beth served as vice president of Green is Universal, an initiative focused on the strategic incorporation of sustainability across NBCUniversal’s entire organization, including more than 50 on-air and online brands. She also led Green is Universal’s strategic interface with sales, marketing, research, and communications to develop sustainability opportunities with external partners.
Prior to joining NBCUniversal, Beth was the head of CSR for the National Football League for more than a decade. She was responsible for building the League’s cause platform from the ground up into one of the most comprehensive philanthropic agendas in the industry and managing community and public affairs, cause marketing, and program development. She also oversaw the NFL Charities and the League’s other foundations, which awarded more than $30 million annually. In addition, Beth served as a senior advisor to the Peter G. Peterson Foundation.
