Ann Charles is founder and CEO of BRANDfog, providing social media leadership branding for CEOs. Her social media leadership practice addresses the fact that while the most effective leaders in history have been great communicators, the vast majority of modern day C-Suite executives remain disassociated from social media communication channels. BRANDfog helps innovative senior management teams to embrace social engagement, utilizing social media to attract new talent, deepen brand loyalty, establish trust, and strengthen executive brand reputations. It seeks to shine a light on a company’s leadership team, humanizing the brand, creating transparency, and building credibility throughout its industry.

Ann is also a CSR advisor for C-Suite Executives and a writer and ghostwriter for Forbes, Fast Company, and Mashable, among others. As a longtime TED supporter, Ann has designed and hosted a number of TED Luncheon panel discussions, including the Corporate Social Responsibility Panel for TED 2010, The Evolution of Modern Leadership at TED 2011, The Family, Food and the Future of the Planet at TED 2012, and The Weather Channel’s Climate Matters: A Year Out of Season Panel in 2013.
