Allana Helland’s passion for renewables is driven by her concern that the people impacted the most by climate change did the least to cause it. As Senior Director of Marketing at GAF Energy, Allana works daily to increase solar energy adoption on the rooftops of homes across America. She builds cutting-edge digital programs and memorable creative campaigns rooted in storytelling, all with a focus on delivering top-line revenue growth. Allana’s marketing acumen contributed to the overwhelmingly successful product launch of Timberline Solar, the only roof system to directly integrate solar technology into traditional roofing materials. Through the launch, GAF Energy won over 20 awards and surpassed aggressive lead generation targets.
Prior to GAF Energy, Allana delivered brand, content, and event marketing efforts for world-class companies like Cushman & Wakefield, Sunrun, and Carlson Companies. Her 20 years of marketing experience includes numerous martech implementations, complex event management at three successive Olympic Games, and entrepreneurship workshops in developing nations.
She has a BA from Rhodes College. In her free time she’s an avid skier and watercolor painter.
