Alix Hart joined Symantec five months ago from Best Buy, where she was vice president of paid and earned media. In this position, she led Best Buy’s advertising strategy and budget, including digital marketing partnerships, mobile marketing, and social media as well as traditional TV and print media.
Prior to joining Best Buy, Alix worked at Time Inc., where she held several senior-level positions, including vice president of AmericanFamily.com and vice president of online marketing. In these roles, Alix led new digital business and online marketing initiatives for the magazine store portfolio division, including email strategy, paid search, digital advertising, and web analytics.
Alix also worked at Dyson, where she led Dyson.com in the U.S. and all CRM and digital advertising initiatives, and at PepsiCo, where she held various roles tied to marketing, web strategy, digital media, multicultural initiatives, and Pepsi ONE.
Alix earned her MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and bachelor’s degrees in economics and theater from the University of Southern California.
