Cindy Jeffers is a consumer technology, connected hardware, and internet executive with 16 years of experience across media, mobile, IoT, robotics, and emerging platforms. Cindy thrives on bringing products to life, building value propositions, and growing earnings in new and existing businesses. Currently, she is working on a startup and is a proto-entrepreneur at Lemnos in San Francisco.
Cindy was CEO & CTO at Salon Media Group where she led a high-growth reinvention resulting in an 81% increase in revenue from $3.8MM to $7MM and 170% growth in audience to 19MM UVs. Prior to Salon, Cindy spent two years at The Huffington Post as Technical Director and VP of Technology contributing to substantial growth in audience and revenue. While at The Huffington Post she played a key role in the development of Huffingtonpost.com, international editions, a proprietary content management system, and Stylelist.com, an AOL lifestyle property.
She worked on interactive exhibit and hardware design at The Museum of Natural History and Distance Lab, and built robots for Heddatron, an off-Broadway musical in New York City. She holds a master’s degree from the Interactive Telecommunications Program at New York University, where she focused on physical computing, and a bachelor’s degree from Barnard College.
