Q: How big of a responsibility does business have to make the world more equitable?

I’m not sure businesses can shape such an outcome. But by investing in people businesses make a direct contribution to creating a more enlightened society, or at least the investment increases the potential for more enlightened behavior. Individuals still need to make it happen.

Q: What emerging technology can have the greatest positive impact on society?

By now many of us have learned that Autonomous cars could save 1 million lives globally a year and prevent tens of millions of injuries. We will be able  say goodbye once  and for all to distracted driving. Text and watch videos to your heart’s desire!

Q: What is the biggest issue that you worry is not getting enough attention?

Looking around, artificial screen realities seem to be trouncing good, old-fashioned human interactions. What will happen over time to compassion and love and nuance — the very essences of being human?
