Michael is the founding partner of the award-winning creative agency, Opts Ideas, and co-founder of the 100 People Foundation. Michael founded Opts Ideas during the infancy of the Tech boom in the early 1980’s, and his firm has been instrumental in helping companies like Microsoft and Apple bring new products and new ideas to market. Opts has evolved to become an industry leader in communicating content to live and virtual audiences worldwide. As co-founder of the 100 People Foundation, Michael has helped create a novel and powerful yet simple way to understand the people with whom we share the planet, and where each of us fit in to the bigger picture.
Executive Producer – Carrie Van Heyst
Carrie leads The Van Heyst Group (VHG), a creator and producer of stimulating forums for global thought leaders and senior executives. The company specializes in developing unique and innovative program themes and content, and convenes the most respected individuals within their fields to engage in provocative dialogues that often lead to genuine action. To complete the full-service experience, VHG also provides state-of-the-art event and logistics management, environmentally sensitive onsite production design, and top-notch audience recruitment.
Creative Director – Carolyn Jones
Carolyn Jones is best known for her socially proactive photographs and documentary films. As co-founder and artistic director of the 100 People Foundation, she has spent the last five years traveling around the globe to raise awareness about social issues through stories and photographs. In an effort to better educate students about global issues, the 100 People Foundation has teamed up with Techonomy to produce media that will inspire students to become techonomists.
