Senior Manager, Aviation and Travel Services Industry, World Economic Forum

Maxime joined the World Economic Forum USA in New York in December 2011 where he is responsible for developing and managing working relationships with the aviation industry sectors and for supporting the Forum’s portfolio of related projects and initiatives. He is also in charge of providing strategic insights and of monitoring issues, trends and key development that might affect the industry. Maxime is also part of the 2011 Global Leadership Fellow cohort, a three-year executive Master’s program in global leadership provided by the Forum in collaboration with CEIBS, Columbia University, INSEAD, the London Business School and the Wharton School. Prior to joining the Forum, Maxime was a Senior Advisor, Public Affairs for Europe, for Canadian aircraft manufacturer Bombardier Aerospace, based in Paris, France. He was acting as the primary interface between the corporation and key aviation and aerospace stakeholders in Europe, including trade associations – IATA, ATAG, AEA, GAMA, EBAA, policymakers and agencies such as EASA and Eurocontrol. Maxime joined Bombardier in 2005 in the public policy office of the corporate and he held different strategy and business development positions at the Aerospace division HQ in Montreal before moving to Paris in 2009. Maxime holds both a Master degree in International Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, specialized in Finance (Mercury Honours) from HEC Montréal. In 2005, he was a participant in the Canada House of Commons Parliamentary Internship Programme. Maxime has been active in the community, having served on the boards of the Coalition of Youth Chambers of Commerce of Quebec and of the Conseil Permanent de Jeunesse, an internal advisory body to the Quebec Government on all matters related to youth. He is passionate about long distance running, ice-hockey, baseball, surfing, snowboarding and he is an avid political junkie and self-taught electric guitar player.
